a. Watch this Builder’s Club video together. (If you are holding a virtual meeting, share your screen with members to watch together; be sure to click “share audio.”) After watching, discuss the video with the club. 

i. What ideas have come from this video? 

ii. What do we see as our challenges for this club and school? 

iii. Why do we exist as a club? What purposes do we serve?  

iv. How does being part of a big service family feel? 

b. Community assessment 

i. Use the community assessment worksheet to figure out what community needs Builders Club can address this year.  

c. Community mapping activity:  

i. The community mapping activity is a great tool that helps identify where our school and communities need help so we can do projects that make a difference.

d. Challenge club members to invite at least one potential member to the next club meeting. Discuss other ways to recruit new members. 

i. Look at recruitment flyer (ask everyone to download). 

ii. How can new members help us with service this year?
