Global Service Project 2024
Kiwanis International invites your club to join K-Kids clubs and Builders Clubs around the world for this year’s Global Service Project, which will be announced during the Global Kickoff event on September 27.
This year’s Global Service Project ‘Make your community healthy’ will challenge K-Kids clubs and Builders Clubs to carry out a wellness campaign in your school or community. A short video and instructional flyer on the K-Kids and Builders Club websites provide campaign tips and ideas for different ways a club can encourage health and wellness through the four ways to do service: advocacy, fundraising, donations, and hands-on service. Ideas include:
- Kicking off a mental health awareness campaign with a speaker at a school assembly,
- holding a fundraiser for a children’s hospital,
- holding a healthy snacks donation drive for a local food pantry,
- hosting a nutrition fair, and
- organizing a “get fit” challenge.
